Pick Critical Process Died, Page Fault, Memory Management or Video TDR Failure.
Set progress speed
Choose how quickly the simulated collection percentage changes.
Start the simulation
The button opens the crash screen in fullscreen and begins its progress counter.
Exit immediately
Press Escape or click the display. Reset returns the percentage to zero.
Details included in the modern BSOD
The layout uses the Windows blue field, large sad face, restart explanation, completion percentage and lower QR information area with Segoe style typography and realistic spacing.
The selected stop code changes only the final line. It does not claim that the computer experienced that error.
What to do after a real blue screen
A real Windows stop screen normally interrupts the operating system, may restart the machine and can include a code connected to the failure. This page remains inside a browser tab, which is the simplest way to tell the situations apart.
If an actual crash occurs, record the code and use Microsoft or the device maker's support process. This simulator cannot read crash dumps, drivers or hardware.
BSOD simulation controls
The options change the staged error details without touching Windows.
Stop code
Changes the label shown in the support information area.
Progress
Sets how much the fake percentage can advance on each timed update.
Start simulation
Resets the visible value, enters fullscreen and starts the counter.
Reset
Stops the counter and returns the preview to zero percent.
Important: Never use a fake crash to pose as technical support, demand payment or pressure someone to share access. Keep harmless pranks brief and easy to reveal.
Fake Blue Screen of Death questions
Can this cause a real blue screen?
No. It displays HTML and CSS inside the browser and cannot trigger a system crash.
Does the QR code diagnose my computer?
No. It is part of the visual recreation and does not scan the device.
Why does progress stop below 100 percent?
That keeps the simulated crash on screen until the visitor chooses to exit or reset it.
