Create a Hacker Typer screen

The tool responds to typing without executing the keys as commands.

01

Focus the terminal

Click the code area so the page can respond to keyboard input.

02

Choose a theme

Use Matrix green, amber CRT or ice blue, then set how much code appears for each key.

03

Type or automate

Press any keys manually or use Auto type for a continuous sequence.

04

Trigger the result

Press Ctrl and Enter in fullscreen or select Access granted to display the final message.

What appears when you type

The terminal reveals fictional sample code from a prepared sequence. Your keystrokes choose when more text appears, but they are not inserted as commands and are not sent to a shell.

The default green is #11C700, matching the current live site's terminal color. CRT mode adds scan lines and glow for style, while Clear removes the visible lines so a new scene can begin.

A visual prop without hacking functions

The page cannot access files, passwords, accounts, cameras or networks. Access Granted is only an overlay and does not represent a successful login.

Use it for a film, stream, costume, presentation or harmless joke. Use Black Screen to clear the display, or the Matrix Screensaver when you want automatic background motion instead of typing.

Terminal controls

The settings change presentation and pacing only.

Theme

Switches among green, amber and blue text treatments.

Speed

Controls how much fictional code each keystroke reveals.

Auto type and CRT

Runs automatic text and toggles the scan line display.

Access Granted

Shows the overlay by button or Ctrl and Enter, including during fullscreen.

Important: The screen is fictional. Do not use it to impersonate real access, request credentials or convince someone that their data has been compromised.

Hacker Typer questions

Does the tool run the keys I press?

No. Any accepted key simply reveals the next part of prepared fictional code.

How do I show Access Granted in fullscreen?

Press Ctrl and Enter. The shortcut works while the terminal is fullscreen.

What green color does it use?

The default Matrix green text is #11C700.
