What pure yellow means on a screen
Digital #FFFF00 combines the red and green channels at full value while the blue channel is zero. It is a vivid screen color, not a promise that the display matches printed yellow ink.
Panel type, brightness, color profile and room light all change perception. Use the copied HEX or RGB value when exact digital input matters, and use calibrated equipment when color critical matching is required.
