Set up a Fullscreen Countdown Screen
Set the duration and appearance before opening fullscreen so the audience sees only the timer.
Choose a duration
Use a preset or enter hours, minutes and seconds for the exact session.
Set the design
Pick background, gradient, text and accent colors, then adjust the number shadow.
Start and pause
Start the clock, pause without losing the remaining time, or reset to the chosen duration.
Open fullscreen
Expand the large digits for a class, meeting, workout or event.
Choose a timer people can read
High contrast numbers and a restrained background work best at distance. The accent color controls the progress bar, while the shadow changes the glow around the main time display.
The timer uses the browser's performance clock and recalculates from a deadline while running. Background tabs and device power management can still affect what is visible, so do not use it as the only timing source for a critical process.
Use presets as starting points
One and five minutes suit short turns. Ten minutes works for a focused task, 25 minutes for a common work interval and one hour for a longer session. Custom fields cover durations between those choices.
For measuring time upward and recording segments, use the Stopwatch. Open Black Screen when the display should remain blank after the timer.
Countdown and style controls
Time and appearance settings remain available until fullscreen begins. The timer-row Reset restores the chosen duration; the bottom Reset returns the whole tool to five minutes and its default style.
Time fields
Accept hours from 0 to 23 and minutes or seconds from 0 to 59. Editing a time field stops the current countdown and sets the new duration.
Progress bar
Shrinks in proportion to the time remaining from the selected starting duration.
Gradient
Uses two background colors when enabled or the first color as a solid field when disabled.
Shadow
Adjusts the glow around the large timer text from 0 to 64 pixels.
Important: Browser timers can be affected by sleep, background throttling or device load. Use approved timing equipment for exams, safety procedures or regulated events.
Fullscreen Countdown Screen questions
Can I pause and continue the same countdown?
Yes. Pause preserves the remaining time, and Start continues from that point.
What happens at zero?
The display changes to its completed state and the progress reaches the end.
Can I use a solid background?
Yes. Turn Gradient off and choose the first background color.
