Run the Android Fake Update Screen
The layout scales with the browser, but the device should remain easy to unlock and exit.
Set the percentage
Choose the visible starting point for the installing sequence.
Choose the speed
Match the duration to a short recording or a brief prank.
Preview in orientation
Check the screen in the same portrait or landscape position you plan to use.
Open and exit
Enter fullscreen, then press Escape, tap the screen or close the browser to stop.
Android elements used in the recreation
The simulated view centers an Android update robot above installing text, a changing percentage and a horizontal progress bar. These parts scale together rather than using a desktop layout on a phone.
The animation is self contained, so the percentage does not come from Android, Google Play or the device's system updater.
A fake update cannot affect apps or files
The page has no ability to install an Android package, clear storage, restart the phone or change system settings. Browser fullscreen is the only special display behavior it requests.
If a real Android device is stuck during an update, use the phone maker's support instructions. Models can have different recovery processes, and this visual tool cannot identify the correct one.
Android simulation controls
Adjust the visible progress before hiding the page interface.
Starting percentage
Places the simulated installation at a selected point.
Duration
Sets how slowly or quickly the visual percentage changes.
Realistic pauses
Makes progress wait temporarily without affecting Android.
Reset and exit
Reset returns the preview. Escape leaves fullscreen immediately.
Important: Do not use a fake update to make someone unlock a phone, reveal a PIN or believe that an official repair is taking place.
